This album was originally inspired by sound recordings made by oboist and transcendent improvisationalist Sarah Clewett while on her study abroad experience in London during the Fall 2016. She was intrigued by the layers of sounds she heard on her meandering walks through British and European cities, parks, and underground subways. Desiring to create something more with these recordings, a collaboration with composer and electronics guru Jason Koth eventually emerged. After manipulating these ambient samples mixed with ambient electronic soundscapes, the duo then recorded improvisations on top of these textures, creating a new sonic experience for all to listen.
